Established in 1984, POPULAR has grown leaps and bounds into a household name in Malaysia over the decades – and we have been promoting and encouraging reading ever since. Today, we are recognized and listed by the Malaysian Book of Records, as Malaysia’s largest bookstore chain, with over 800,000 square feet of retail space. In fact, today we have a total of 100 POPULAR outlets located nationwide, with 5 mega stores in Klang Valley, Penang and Johor Bahru.
