"Koong Woh Tong first began its business of selling Chinese traditional herbal jelly ‘Guiling Gao’ (龟苓膏) and herbal teas, namely ‘Wu Hua Cha’ (五花茶) and ‘Ya Sei Mei’ (廿四味) in Malaysia. Due to the remarkable healing effects of those herbal products, the business grew gradually upon efforts made by the family members generation after generation. Throughout the years, Koong Woh Tong continued to conduct its research on the authentic herbs formula with a will to keep in tune with the modern dietary habits of the customers."
